Share a highlight from your last week.*
First things first! A short exercise to get us going.
Imagine you are with one of your friends sitting in a cafe. You have both ordered and, while you wait, you simply share one highlight of the week.
If you are in a room of people, form groups of two and share a highlight.
If you are by yourself, find a way to share it with a friend.
VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure you don’t mind the world knowing your highlight. We’ll come back to this below so don’t forget each other’s highlight. If you are by yourself, take the time record it on your smart phone, write it down, text it to someone, or type it into the ‘ZOOM’ chat box if this is an online workshop.
Simple. Please do this before proceeding!

The way Story2 is written reminds me of a type of story telling called ‘greentext’ on 4chan. It’s a meme format and gives all the important parts of a story with out wasting words. Look it up if you’re interested! ☺️
thanks! I will!
A highlight that was shared between a husband and wife last week was around the husband on a waiting list for a carpel tunnel surgery. Each one had different emotions. With the husband, undergoing the surgery he was very anxious in the days leading up to the procedure. For the wife being reminded by loved ones of the care he will need post surgery was daunting. The couple of questions going through her head were, what kind of a patient will he be? How will he recover from the anaesthetic?
Importantly, when he had the X-rays and ultrasound they knew both his hands would need to undergo the procedure, which they learnt from the surgeon he will only do one at a time. So for her the overwhelming feeling and thought that remained a highlight was knowing she wouldn’t have to wipe his rump. As for him the forty eight hours following the procedure weren’t the worst case scenario he imagined and is grateful that at least one of his hands is on the mend.
