Moderation Policy

General Guidelines

  • Those using the forms on this website are strongly encouraged to edit any text for each form field in a text editor and have it checked for spelling and grammar before cutting and pasting to any form on this site.
  • Moderation of posts does not include fact checking or basic editing. We are asking that this be the responsibility of those creating the post.
  • We cannot guarantee we will be able to adjust any major or minor mistakes. Better to start again and request the moderator to delete the old one.

General Policy

  • We reserve the right to publish or not publish submissions.
  • We reserve the right to remove any posts that are deemed or discovered to be outside the values and purview of MIDST
  • We reserve the right to make minor edits to your submission.
  • Notification will not be made with regard to any of the above moderations.

Post Authorship

  • To make a contribution to MIDST you will need to be logged in as a subscriber/contributor
  • Posts published on MIDST will show your [name] as the author for the post. In particular, it will show your profile’s ‘Display name publicly as’ [name]. You can change this to either your [username[ or your [nick name]. Here’s how. Hover over Howdy, [your name] appearing as your logged in name at the top right hand corner of this page. Choose ‘Edit my profile’ if you want to change what appears to the public.
  • Submissions remain the property of the post author and also become copyrighted material of and for the use of midst.com.au
  • Posts will display the added authorship/copyright note as in the following square brackets:
